Ace Electric had been providing electrical contracting services to the Southern California region for more than 20 years. But they’d never truly invested in developing their brand or online presence. Their corporate identity and company website were significantly outdated, and fell short of representing the company’s cutting-edge lighting and electrical capabilities. Ace had grown into a decidedly successful operation over the years, with a reputation for top-notch, dependable work. But because their marketing efforts were almost exclusively word of mouth, the company had been typecast as a sports lighting specialist. Ace Electric’s goals were to forge a modernized brand identity and online presence, leverage that new presence to promote their breadth of electrical services, and grow the business well beyond the impressive revenue benchmarks it had already reached.

Brand Strategy

Strategy centered on bringing to light Ace’s electrical expertise in the areas of civic, commercial, education, residential, as well as sports facilities. We positioned the brand as a cutting-edge industry leader boasting over 600 successfully completed projects. Research drew heavily on information gleaned from our in-depth brand questionnaire, augmented by thorough stakeholder interviews. What emerged was the portrait of a brand that operated from a family-first perspective, with equal emphasis on both the safety of its employees and the satisfaction of its customers. Our goal was to convey these values, along with the proven expertise of the Ace Electric team within a confident and visually inviting identity and online presence.
